Paulina is originally from Mexico. She moved to San Diego in late 2008 and she didn’t know practically any English when she arrived to this country. Having experienced firsthand the pressures and complexities of learning concepts in a foreign tongue, Paulina became a fierce advocate in encouraging others to overcome similar obstacles. Since 2014, she has been assisting students from diverse cultural backgrounds with their varied learning needs on a spectrum of subjects within the Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Spanish disciplines; she has since continued with private one-on-one tutoring sessions in West Los Angeles, including homeschooling and after-school lessons, tailored to each student’s needs. Paulina discovered that this was her passion. Once people realized that, she quickly found herself with more clients than she could accommodate. A San Diego native, Greg Dunn is known amongst the team as the web-wizard screenwriting behind the scenes. Greg brings on board a background in business communication and philosophy, armed with a vibrant work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit that guided him to the voice-over industry. Navigating through the hiccups and pitfalls of modern voice-over business models, he is also the founder of VoiceBid, a competitive online marketplace that connects voice-over talent to business. Greg met Paulina in high school; they moved to Los Angeles in late 2014 and together launched Tutisto. Through Tutisto, Paulina and Greg’s mission has been to create a close-knit band of tutors who offer a fusion of high intelligence and integrity in order to create a tutee-friendly environment that guarantees sustainable success. This has ultimately become the foundation of Tutisto’s company culture, centered on its five primary values: credibility, integrity, quality, ease of use, and inspiration.
